lias Zoutsos was born in Athens and he comes from Crete . It began at an early age playing Cretan lyra in concerts and festivals of traditional music . He continued his studies in classical violin and is now a graduate of the National Conservatory , graduate and PhD candidate in Musicology at the University of Athens and a permanent member of the Symphony Orchestra of Athens. Collaborates with composer C. Markopoulos, author T. Papaconstantinou and with Ross Daly. In recent years, writes his own songs and music . He has also worked with the American TV network NBC giving music for documentary
