The reason for this publication was the exhibition of toys - sound objects, which took place in Samos in July 2007. The toys - sound objects are part of a larger collection, which includes: folk musical instruments, gramophone records, scores, engravings, sound objects, postcards, etc., all related to the musical tradition of Greece and the wider Eastern area.
