The book "Ierapetra Music Beams" in the 20th century by Georgios Psaroudakis is a recording of great musical institutions and events that took place in Ierapetra in the 20th century and which contributed to the music education of young people of each age and the cultural awareness of society. That is, the activity of the Educational Association in 1895, the Musical Association "Orpheus" in 1922, the Greg's mandolin. Moutakis in 1924, the Kaufmann Conservatory in 1927-1935 and the Conservatory of Ierapetra by John Manioudakis in 1937-39. After the war, the activities of the Ierapetra Conservatories of Kosmas and Neronov in 1948-52, the founding of the Ierapetra Philharmonic in 1952, the Music Club of Ierapetra and its Choir in 1980, the Cultural Center of the Municipality in 1982, the "Kiroves" 1983, the Music School and the School of Byzantine Music in 1985, the Choir of the Cultural Center and the Children's Choir in 1986, etc. This book will be discussed.
